Stanley Young papers, 1875-1969 1920-1960.

Correspondence, manuscripts, reference material, and clippings connected with Young's publications on predators and predator control. Documents from Young's personal life include some letters, a scrapbook from the University of Michigan, and material from the organizations with which he was affiliated. Photographs from the collection are housed in the Western History Department Photograph Collection.

Young worked from 1917 to 1921 as a government hunter for the U.S. Biological Survey, eradicating predatory animals considered a threat to domestic livestock in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas.
